Nuba is our healthy , fresh and organic hide away. Since I moved to Canada, I started enjoying restaurants that offers healthy options. I eat a lot of sweets , and my compromise is to balance it with eating more veggies and fruits.
Lamb Kafta : Grilled grain-fed halal lamb patty, seasoned with onions, parsley, and spices
This restaurant provides that option to me. I do not eat a lot, so the serving portion is just right for me, it still leaves some room for dessert. Although, if you are really hungry, you might find that the portion is quite small for the price. The quality of the food is good, the meat is tender and well seasoned, and the items on the plate works well together. They are a bit pricey though, because they only used Organic ingredients. Few visit from time to time won’t hurt, but this is definitely a place you could visit regularly for a nice day lunch.
Le Petit Feast: Hummus, taboulleh, baba ganooj and homemade pickle.
This look small , but it’s quite filling. Good for 3 – 4 people as an appetizer. You can request for bread refill..
From time to time, I still like feasting on Big Burgers, Fish & Chips, Pizza and all those usual north American favorites.I call it treat myself day whenever I do that. But today, I feel like treating myself to something healthier.
This place is a bit of a walk from our office, but when the weather is good like today, I don’t mind walking at all.
