Let’s talk about summer … And desserts. What could be a better topic than combining those two into one, right? And of course the fact that it’s summer here makes things better. I love summer more than any other season, and it’s just unfortunate that it only lasts 3-4 months in Vancouver. That means I have to make the most of it as long as I possible. Maybe in where you are it’s always summer (I’m so jealous now), or maybe it’s is winter or spring or fall, but at some point in time you will have summer (most likely although not guaranteed) so let’s just imagine it’s summer there and I would like to throw this question to you.

What is your favorite summer dessert? Any kind of dessert, I would like to know if you don’t mind sharing. That is our main topic for today, our all time favorite summery desserts. I have plenty of them, some of them I have already posted in my blog and some of them are still roaming in my mind and driving me crazy (I’ll get them out soon, promise). Frozen treats are of course on top of my list, fruity crumble bars, cobblers, smoothie bowls, pies, tarts are just few of them. I could go on and on but I guess for now this is a good place to stop. Let me show you what I have so far in my site and then next year will revisit it to add some more. I hope you’ll find at least one or more to keep your summer even more fun and exciting. Blueberry Crumb Bar

One of my favorite crumb bars. Made by a combination of homemade crust than has been filled with fresh blueberries in the Center and covered with a nice layer of crumbled dough crust. 

Mango Shortbread Custard Tart

A nice creamy and buttery tart base filled with smooth egg custard top with thinly sliced fresh ripe Mangoes  

Peaches and Berries Mini Fruit Pies

This tart is bursting with fresh and ripe berries encased in a homemade buttery pie crust. 

Baked Strawberry Donut

I never knew how good a baked donut taste until I made this Baked Strawberry Donut. It’s soft, light and not greasy at all. You can eat more than 1 and not feel guilty about it.

Mango Lassi

Smooth and creamy Mango Lassi is a perfect summer drink. You can even have it for breakfast or to go drink. 

Blueberry Cheesecake

Blueberries in it sweetest and thickest form meets sweet and tangy cream cheese. It’s so good it’s almost dangerous to be left alone with this cake.

Strawberry Crumb Bar

This bar is Sandwich between homemade crust, strawberry filling and nice toasted oats crumbs. You cannot go wrong with that combination. 

Blueberry Lemon Yogurt Bread

A mashed up of lemon and blueberry fruit in one soft and moist yogurt based cake. 

Strawberry Swirl Banana Muffins

Breakfast is ready! This Strawberry Banana Muffin is one good way to great your morning. It’s filling and it’s so easy to make you can even make it in the morning. 

Blueberry Yogurt Muffins

I’ll never get tired of making this muffin. It’s just so soft and the fresh pieces of blueberries mixed in the batter gave a really nice fresh flavor. 

Mango Frozen Yogurt

Yo do not need an ice cream machine maker to do this, so go ahead and make this Mango Frozen Yogurt. It’s smooth, creamy and taste so good.

Pina Colada Crumb Bar

The tropical flavor in this crumb bar made it a MUST recipe for my summer desserts. It has a nice sweet homemade pineapple filling and a nice toasted coconut on top. 

Bananas Foster 

Banana with a twist is how I want to describe this dessert. It’s a simple and easy caramelized banana topped with as much ice cream  as you like. I have a video for this, check it out.

Strawberry Mango Slushie

Because one is not enough, this drinks combines the fresh fruity flavor of Strawberry and Mango. 

Peaches and Cream Swiss Roll

let you Summer roll with this ultra light and soft Peaches and Cream Swiss Roll. It’s not as difficult as it look, check it out for the step by step instructions with photo. 

Blueberry Custard Cake Crumble Pie

This is a mashed up between pie and tart in one. The base is a lie crust, filled with egg custard cake and topped with oat crumbles.

Strawberry Cobbler

Ice cream can not get better with this Strawberry Cobbler. This cobbler has a nice strawberry sauce and a nice serving portion of baked biscuits on top.

Mini Blueberry Bundt Cake

you cannot have too much blueberry for Summer. When summer that calls for cake, you have to make this one. It’s mini and single serve, it has a nice cake and muffin like texture and of course it’s loaded with fresh blueberries. 

Sugar FREE Strawberry Pineapple Cooler

 Quench your thirst with this sugar-free homemade Strawberry Pineapple Iced Tea. It’s easy and budget friendly so drink as much as you like. I have a video for this, check it out.

Homemade Ice Cream

Homemade ice cream with no ice cream machine needed is so easy to make. With just 2 ingredients minimum, you got yourself a homemade ice cream with flavors of your choosing.

Baked Blueberry Donut

This Baked Blueberry Dougnut is my summer kind of dougnut. It’s soft and light and it’s full of natural fresh blueberry flavors, plus it’s bake.

Mango Coconut Chiffon Cake

Don’t you just love Mango even more when you can enjoy it with a cake? This Mango Cake has a very light and soft texture, a nice whipped cream frosting and fresh and ripe Mangoes on top and in the middle.

Greek Yogurt Fruit Tart

This No Bake fruit tart is what you need when opening the oven is not an option. The base was made for dates and nuts, coated with Greek yogurt and topped with fresh fruits all over. 

Pina Colada Cake

Insanely delicious I can almost finish the entire cake. It’s soft and moist with a nice pineapple Filling and shredded sweetened coconut. 

Strawberry Streusel Muffins

What is summer without making this Strawberry Muffin? One of the easiest quick bread that can be enjoyed anytime of the day.
