Thinking of what meals to prepare everyday is difficult especially if you are cooking for a family. Although I live by myself now, trust me when I say I know how it feels. Even a simple breakfast could be a nightmare if you do it everyday.

In this YouTube shorts series, I am sharing with you very simple ways to serve Bagels. Bagel is a compact chewy bread that is great for toasting or baking. They are great for breakfast or snack. They can be serve sweet or savoury, your choice 🙂
Let’s Eat! Blueberry Cream Cheese Bagel Toast
Let’s start with a sweet bagel toast. I love this bagel toast when I am craving for a sweet dessert style bagel for breakfast. Simply toast the bagel, spread some cream cheese and top with stewed blueberry or any berries of your choice. To make stewed berries, simply mix berries and sugar and bring to a simmer until the sugar dissolves. Preferably, make this ahead of time to give it time to thicken.
Let’s Eat! Avocado & Egg Bagel Toast
Avocado toast is one common idea for using avocado. Most of the time I used plain sliced bread when making avocado toast but since I had bagel on hand at that time, I decided to use bagel instead. Toast the bagel, cut up some avocado and top with jammy fried egg or any egg of your choice.
I had been consistently doing YouTube shorts for what meals that I eat in a day. Most of them are very easy meals that doesn’t even require a written recipe for you to be able to make it. If you watch the short video, you will have an idea how to make it, no recipe needed. They are very flexible and you can adjust and tweak it to your liking.
I don’t normally create recipe post for them so they just sit in my YouTube channel. As I look at them, I thought why not share it with you. The videos are maximum 60 seconds only so this will not take a lot of your time, but in that short time, it will give you an idea on your meal preparation.
Let’s Eat! Radish Cream Cheese Bagel Toast
A salad and bagel toast for breakfast. Fresh mix greens, toasted plain bagel smothered with cream cheese and topped with thinly slice radish and jammy fried egg.
Let’s Eat! So fun to prepare this Air Fryer Cheesy Hassleback Bagel
Loving this hassle back bagel! The melted cheese in between slices are so damn good! You will n need a bagel (obviously), I used cheese bagel for this one but any plain or savoury bagel will work. Make vertical slices on the bagel but do not cut all the way through. You want just enough surface area to insert the slices of cheese in between. Melt buttered add some garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush the in between slices with butter and insert cheese on them. Brush the top with remaining butter and sprinkle with paprika and more dried parsley. Air fry at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bagel is toasted to your liking.
The videos are mostly single serving dish but you can easily scale it up. Use the video as a guide and do as many as you wish. A lot of these meals require cooking more than baking so it is more forgiving. You can easily change it up to your liking.
I will not be detailing the instructions for this meals. They are really very easy. Simply watch the video and the video will show you how to make it. If there are any special instructions, I’ll mention it but otherwise this is not going to be like my usual recipe post complete with ingredients list and instructions.
Air Fryer Tuna Melt Bagel
This melts in your mouth Tuna Melt Bagel is a breakfast worth making. You will a can of drained tuna to make the tuna spread. Drain the tuna and add mayonnaise or plain greek yogurt for a lighter version. Add some chopped red onion, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, salt, black pepper and other seasoning and spices of your choice, mix to combine. Cut the bagel into half and top with the bagel spread and grated cheese. I used a mix of mozzarella and cheddar. Air fryer at 350F for 10 — 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bagel is toasted to your liking.
I am hoping that these short videos will be useful to you as it was to me 🙂 Let me know which ones you would like to try.
If you have any questions for any of them, ask away and I will try my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
