Hello There berry lovers! Today, we’re diving into a wholesome and flavorful recipe that’s sure to become a staple in your breakfast or dessert repertoire—Very Berry Baked Oats. This delightful dish combines the heartiness of baked oats with the vibrant flavors of assorted berries, creating a breakfast or dessert that’s both nutritious and delicious.
Picture a warm, comforting bowl of baked oats, bursting with the sweetness of fresh or frozen blueberries and other mixed berries. To take this dish to the next level, I incorporated a generous amount of homemade berry compote, cooked low and slow to bring out the natural sweetness and richness of the berries. Whether served warm or cold, this Very Berry Baked Oats is a treat that will brighten up your day.

If you’re in the mood for a cold and indulgent treat, we highly recommend serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The contrast of the creamy ice cream with the fruity baked oats creates a delightful combination that’s perfect for a special breakfast or a cozy dessert.

I love how this simple oat recipe can be enjoyed both hot and cold, breakfast or dessert. You cannot go wrong with this regardless how you chose to enjoy it. I used mix frozen berries for this one for flexibility, the mix berries I used for my smoothies. You can use fresh which will be even better. You can also choose just one type of berries instead a mix of different kind. I would say, Strawberry, Blueberry, raspberry and Cherry are great options.

So, preheat your oven and get ready to enjoy delightful treat! Very Berry Baked Oats is sure to become a favorite in your household. Happy baking!
