I would say, check the schedule. The Farmers market is not open everyday, and when they are, there are only open for few hours. When I went there on a Sunday, the hours was 10:00AM – 2:30PM. I run into people walking to get there almost past 2:30PM.

Go around and check the stands before you buy so that you can compare prices if needed. This will also give you a better idea on what to buy or eat.

It was a nice filler activity if you don’t not have anything to do or when the weather is not good to walk outside. I personally think that you will not miss anything even if you don’t add this in your itinerary.

Consider this an activity filler or backup in case you need an activity when the weather is not good. However, if you are already in the area then drop by and have a look. Who knows, there’s something that you might like here.

What I cook when on vacation

It might sound unconventional, but really love making meals from time to time. Although trying new cuisine and food is really nice, I still miss home cooking. Luckily, the airbnb I stayed at is fully furnished and the kitchen was well equipped with what I need to cook simple easy meals. Since Halifax has quite an abundance of seafood, I cooked mostly Salmon and Cod dishes, with one day of cooking a steak for a change. It was great and I would definitely do this again given the chance.
