I used to love I-Hop until I met Cora. Cora took breakfast into different level. Cora offers lunch items too, although one look in their menu and you would thought that they are just more of a breakfast place. Not really, we’ve been going to Cora 3 times already during lunch time. I love how they try to add fresh fruits in almost every item in their menu. They have assortment of pancakes, sweet & savoury crepes and the usual eggs breakfast, sandwiches, soups and a lot more. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients , it shows in the quality of the food. The food is nicely plated too.The fruits are cut very creatively , it’s almost a shame to eat it. The serving portion is good, at least for it is enough to feed a hungry tummy. Their pricing is a little bit high though. Well,I guess it’s the price you pay for getting something good. It may not be the place that you could go to regularly, but surely a place you could go when you want to treat yourself for a nice crepes and MORE. Allow me to share with you our favourite orders here. Let’s get started.
Eggs Ben Et Dictine : Poached eggs on an English muffin covered with hollandaise sauce served with roasted potatoes and fresh fruit. Available with one, two or three poached eggs!
This is probably the best item in their menu. I have to warn you though, you don’t get to eat something this good for “few” calories. This is a killer and a No,No when you are trying to watch your diet. The culprit is the creamy and delicious hollandaise sauce! This sauce is basically egg yolks & butter, lots of them. But I still urge you to at least try it. They have few variations available. The Asparagus, Swiss Cheese , Smoked Salmon, Ham & Tomatoes , Bacon & Green Onions. You can also request for add-on like chicken, this is what I did when I ordered the Asparagus , Swiss Cheese. You can choose from 1,2 or 3 eggs too, and all variations comes with fresh fruits beautifully prepared. There’s so many more that I want to try, but I kept ending up ordering Benedict every time we visit. I’ll keep on trying, maybe next time it will be different 🙂
