I cannot make up my mind which of these cookies I want to make first for the holidays. As you can see, there’s quite a lot of choices and they all look absolutely delicious. Picking which one to make is really a tough decision for me, but I guess I have to do it. I always like the idea of adding a personal touch to gifts that I give, and what better way to do it than to bake it from scratch and wrap it with love. That sounds kind of poetic, but don’t you like the idea of a personalize gift? I do, in fact I love them. Edible gifts like cookies, cakes or bars are something that I really like receiving especially if they are homemade.

You can of course shortcut the method and buy a box of cookies in the store and nicely wrap it, but as a receiving person a the end, I always appreciate it more when I receive something that was personally made than bought. I know that not everyone has time to bake a cookie, this is why I’ve chosen my favorite easy to make cookies that are wonderful for gift giving.

I’m pretty sure you will find at least one or two that you can make at home. Homemade cookies have a very personal touch on it and a true labor of love. If you are on a tight budget, homemade cookies are the way to go. You will be surprise how a small budget could actually produce so much cookies. Besides, who doesn’t love cookies? Remember, gifts doesn’t have to be expensive. So let me share with you my top 21 cookies that are wonderful for gift giving. It’s never too early to plan what to make for the holidays. Here goes my favorite cookie giveaway for the holidays. Check them out!

M&M Cookie
This cookies are so adorably cute, and they taste great too. They are mini, small in size but big in deliciousness! It’s soft and super chewy with load of crunch from bits and pieces of M&M candies.

Small Batch Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie
This is the BEST small batch Chocolate Cookie ever, you would wish that there’s more once you start eating it. It’s soft and chewy just the way I like my cookie, and as always, loaded with chocolate chips, 1/3 cup people! It’ so good, try it to believe!

Small Batch Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookie
It’s soft, chewy and red! Oh Simply irresistible. This one, you may need to double the batch as this goes faster.

Pinwheel Cookies
A complete tutorial on how to make this cookie is up on my website. It takes a little bit more time to make it, but it’s totally worth it. This cookie has a shortbread like texture, it’s buttery, creamy and crunchy too. The dough can be kept frozen for 1-2 months which is a great option for busy days. Make it, freeze it and bake it later. Now that’s how you manage your time.

Shortbread Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie
I’m not supposed to play favorites because these are all amazing cookie, but I would be lying if I tell you I love all of them equally. I am an absolute lover of Chocolate Chip Cookie so that always ranks first, and this Shortbread Pecan is my second favorite. It’s buttery, creamy and loaded with chopped pecans and chocolate chips. What else can I asked for?

Small Batch Classic Vanilla Madeleine Cookies
My sweet Madeleine! This cookie is very simple and easy to make. They are dainty, delicate and beautiful and the batter can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge overnight. That’s more reason for me to love this cookie.

Cream Puff/Profiteroles
A soft shelled custard stuffed cookie coated with dark decadent chocolate, how could you go wrong with one like this? If not for gift giving, this can be served as after meals dessert, quite cute and fancy looking little cookies.

Small Batch Chocolate Kisses French Meringue
This maybe small, but they are dangerously sinfully good! A very light meringue cookies coated with dark chocolate, what could be better?

Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Cookie
Because one red velvet cookie is not enough, I am giving you another one. This Red Velvet Cookie is thick and soft, all I can say it that it is really so good.

Peanut Butter Cookies
Who doesn’t know peanut butter cookies? Classic, simple and easy to make cookie. It has soft and creamy texture with slightly crunchy top. Reminds me of the old days when I used to sit in the coach and eat spoonful of peanut butter right of the jar.

Chocolate Crinkles
This is more like a cross between a cookie and a brownie. It’s fudgy, chocolatey and coated with icing sugar. The dough can be made ahead of time and stored in a fridge and baked in the morning or whenever you want to. It has a soft texture, decadent and nice slightly cracked top.

Classic Shortbread Cookies
Shortbread cookie is one of the classic cookie of all time. It only requires 5 ingredients and few simple steps to follow. Although simple, the simplicity should not be taken for granted because it taste really good. The cookie is buttery, it’s smooth and it’s creamy. It’s perfect to have it on its own, or even better when dipped in melted chocolate. So good!

Chocolate Fudge Cookie
This is the first cookie I launched in my blog because I don’t want to settle for anything less that the best. This is more like a fudgy cookie, with soft center and slightly cracked top. It looks like a brownie cookie rolled into one. A 2 in 1 cookie treat, so no need to choose. You can have both, don’t forget to share.

Ube Crinkles (Purple Yam Crinkles)
Hello purple! A very vibrant beautiful cookie made from cooked and grated purple yam. This is a unique version of the usual Chocolate Crinkles , almost the same procedure but replacing chocolate with purple yam to flavor the cookie. This has an even softer and smoother texture than the original chocolate version, it has a milky and creamy taste and a very subtle purple yam flavor.

Marble French Meringue
If you decide to make the Chocolate Kisses French Meringue, you might want to consider making this as well. This way, you hit 2 birds in 1 stone. This cookie has a hollow center, a chewy texture, and a nice touch of chocolate flavor. It’s so light you can eat 2 in one seating or maybe 3, whose counting anyway?

Small Batch Orange Biscotti
Nice crunchy texture with subtle orange flavor, this Orange Biscotti is a perfect pair for coffee or tea. It’s crunchy but not hard, it’s soft but not crumbly, it’s just perfect.

Almond Lace Cookies
Thin, crispy, crunchy, buttery, sweet and salty and a touch of chocolate too. All the good stuff in life dump into this cookie. This cookie is very addictive, don’t say I did not warn you.

Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
I am not skipping the all time favorite chocolate chip cookie, it’s a must in my cookie list. This cookie has a soft and chewy texture and a slightly crunchy and browned edges. It’s loaded with chocolate chips and more chocolate chips and MORE!

Cream Cheese Stuffed Red Velvet Cookie
Because I cannot get enough of red velvet, here is another red velvet cookie for you. This cookie has a very soft cream cheese filled center, with nice crunchy cookie texture that was finish off with coating of granulated sugar.

Chewy Coconut Oatmeal Cookie
A treat to those who are a little bit more health conscious. I am not saying it’s a healthy choice, but it got lots of oats and different kind of grains, so that qualify for something a little bit “Health-ish”. This cookie is over flowing with texture and more texture in every bite.

Chocolate Caramel Macaroons
Here goes the little delicate fancy cookie, Macaroons. This Macaroons has a gooey center and a crunchy shell. This cookie is a little bit more delicate to handle as compared to other cookies, but don’t worry. Practice makes perfect, don’t give up on it, ok?

Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Coconut Cookie
A chocolate version of the Oatmeal Coconut Cookie shown above for chocolate lovers who cannot get enough of chocolate. It has the same nice texture from the oats, and the same soft cookie but with additional treat of chocolate chips in it.

Shortbread Cookies with Chocolate Ganache
If you are making a Shortbread Cookie, I suggest make a big batch and make this one too. The process is exactly the same, but this one was cut using a cookie cutter and sandwich in between chocolate ganache. You can use whatever shape you like to cut the cookie.

Small Batch Flourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie
I hope you were able to find one or more in the treats I mentioned above. As I have said, it’s never too early to start planning holidays giveaways. You can never go wrong with choosing more than 1, so go crazy and choose to your heart’s content.

Heaven of chocolate cookie, this Orange Chocolate Cookie is so decadent and it has a nice soft, fudgy and moist texture.
