[VIDEO] YouTube Shorts: 5 Ways to Use Croissant – Part 2

Who is not crazy about croissant, raise your hand? 🙂 If you are on the team “croissant crazy”, then keep scrolling to find easy ways to serve croissant. You will find both sweet and savoury options, although I think I have a lot more savoury here as I love croissant for breakfast. These are single serving ideas but can easily be made to big batch. I used large croissants for all these ideas but any size of croissant will work. But if given the choice, why go for small when you can have large croissant?

I will be releasing croissants series posts and each post will have 5 short videos included. All the videos are maximum 60 minutes. I consider this a no recipe post as you can easily make this by watching the video even without the detailed recipe list.

Croissant Turkey & Cheese Bake

Croissant bake is one easy way to make a breakfast out of a croissant. You can make it the same day and even make it overnight for baking the following morning. Start by cutting the croissant into small pieces. Insert pieces of turkey and cheese in between and soak in custard. Bake at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the egg is set and the cheese is melted.

I had been consistently doing YouTube shorts for what meals that I eat in a day. Most of them are very easy meals that doesn’t even require a written recipe for you to be able to make it. If you watch the short video, you will have an idea how to make it, no recipe needed. They are very flexible and you can adjust and tweak it to your liking.

Baked Croissant Casserole

Another bake croissant for you. This also uses small pieces of croissant and soaked in custard. I filled it with cooked mushroom, sun-dried tomato, jalapeno peppers and plenty of cheese. Bake at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the egg is set and the cheese is melted.

I don’t normally create recipe post for them so they just sit in my YouTube channel. As I look at them, I thought why not share it with you. The videos are maximum 60 seconds only so this will not take a lot of your time, but in that short time, it will give you an idea on your meal preparation.

Let’s Eat! Cheesy Mushroom & Egg Croissant

Stuff it! This croissant is so flakey and crunchy, this is filled with cooked mushroom and plenty of cheese. Bake at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the egg is set and the cheese is melted. Click here for a longer video for more details.

The videos are mostly single serving dish but you can easily scale it up. Use the video as a guide and do as many as you wish. A lot of these meals require cooking more than baking so it is more forgiving. You can easily change it up to your liking.

Let’s Eat! Baked Cheesy Croissant French Toast

Croissant for French toast? What could be better. I stuffed the croissant with turkey and cheese, my favourite combination. I used 1 beaten egg combined with milk and I used that to brush the croissant. I then poured the mixture in the croissant and bake it at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the egg is set and the cheese is melted.

I will not be detailing the instructions for this meals. They are really very easy. Simply watch the video and the video will show you how to make it. If there are any special instructions, I’ll mention it but otherwise this is not going to be like my usual recipe post complete with ingredients list and instructions.

Let’s make the viral CROOKIE!

Do you remember the days when the viral cookie was all over the social media? I hopped on the boat and joined the craziness. I made my own cookie dough, filled the croissant with it and top the croissant with more cookie dough. Baked it at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the cookie dough is set and the croissant crunchy.

I am hoping that these short videos will be useful to you as it was to me 🙂 Let me know which ones you would like to try.

If you have any questions for any of them, ask away and I will try my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
