Today’s Quick & Easy Recipe
A simple snacking nut recipe, Candied Cinnamon Almond. This recipe is so easy to make for something so addicting. You will only need 5 simple ingredients and you can make this is 30 minutes or less. The best thing about it is that this gives you more value for your money. You can make a lot and share it with your friends and family for a cheaper price compared to buying this in stores. Because this is homemade, you can basically customize it to your preference. You can use spices that you like, make it sweet and salty, sweet and spicy, or sweet with herbs flavoring. The choice is yours.
Nuts are great snacking items but they tend to be expensive. I always prefer buying a huge bag of raw Almonds so that I can use it the way I want to. Sometimes I make juts plain Salted Almonds, or Spiced Almonds if I feel like something more complex in flavor. Other times I make it sweet, like what I did with this one. Although I added salt in this nuts, the sweet side is still more prominent. You can add more salt it you like a more equally sweet and salty taste.

Buy whole Almonds with skin. They are better for making candied nuts. Do not use the sliced Almonds, you want something whole so that you can pick up each individual pieces when eating them. The sliced or shaved Almonds are too thin, they will clump together.
This candied nuts is best eaten after it is completely cool. Just like when toasting nuts, the nuts are still soft when it is hot. Once it starts to cool down, that’s when the crunch happens. So be patient. It’s worth wait.
