Thinking of what meals to prepare everyday is difficult especially if you are cooking for a family. Although I live by myself now, trust me when I say I know how it feels. Even a simple breakfast could be a nightmare if you do it everyday.
Let’s Eat! Mix Beans with Egg Skillet
Got some mix beans lying around? Found a can of mix beans in my cabinet when I was looking for what to make for breakfast. I decided to season and cook it again to add flavor and taste. Canned beans are bland so you really need to season it well. I cooked it in a skillet pan and add egg. Cover it until the egg is cook to my liking. Served with my homemade cheese toast.
I had been consistently doing YouTube shorts for what meals that I eat in a day. Most of them are very easy meals that doesn’t even require a written recipe for you to be able to make it. If you watch the short video, you will have an idea how to make it, no recipe needed. They are very flexible and you can adjust and tweak it to your liking.
Let’s Eat! Cheesy Egg & Cheese Toast
This one is really fun and delicious way to make bread toast. Use a think slice of loaf and press the center to create a hollow center for the cheese and egg mixture to sit. Beat 1 egg and add cheese, be generous with the cheese. Fill the center of the bread with the egg and cheese filling. Bake at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes of until the cheese is melted.
I don’t normally create recipe post for them so they just sit in my YouTube channel. As I look at them, I thought why not share it with you. The videos are maximum 60 seconds only so this will not take a lot of your time, but in that short time, it will give you an idea on your meal preparation.
Feta Egg Toast
Feta really works with egg. Sprinkle crumbled feta in a heated pan. Sprinkle the feta in circular motion. Fill the center with egg, cover and cook until the egg is set. Do not forget to season 🙂
The videos are mostly single serving dish but you can easily scale it up. Use the video as a guide and do as many as you wish. A lot of these meals require cooking more than baking so it is more forgiving. You can easily change it up to your liking.
How to Make 2 Ingredients Oats Tortilla
Looking for a healthier option for a tortilla? make one at home! This uses oat flour and water as base ingredients. Add desired spices and pour in a heated and lightly greased pan. Cook until the batter is set. Flip to cook the other side. Fill with whatever you like and enjoy!
I will not be detailing the instructions for this meals. They are really very easy. Simply watch the video and the video will show you how to make it. If there are any special instructions, I’ll mention it but otherwise this is not going to be like my usual recipe post complete with ingredients list and instructions.
Roasted Chickpeas & Bell Peppers with Fried Egg
If you have leftover roasted veggie, brighten it top by serving it with steamed rice and chili fried egg. Just like this.
I am hoping that these short videos will be useful to you as it was to me 🙂 Let me know which ones you would like to try.
If you have any questions for any of them, ask away and I will try my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
