My Experience Visiting Halifax Harbour Front
Halifax harbour is my place of refuge when I was at Halifax. This was the place that I spend quite a lot of time walking, relaxing and eating. It was about 35 minutes walk from the rental apartment and about 15 minutes by bus. There are a lot of places to sit in this area, and also a lot of places to explore the culinary scene of Halifax. I wish I had more time to try some of the waterfront restaurants they have there.
I wan’t that lucky when I visited Halifax as it rained most of the days I was there. I had to cancel some of my major plans and had to stay downtown. The weather in Halifax is very unpredictable, in just a matter of minutes the weather can drastically change. Nonetheless, rain or shine, I spent a lot of time in the harbour side.
I highly recommend visiting this area when you are in Halifax. This is hard to miss as this is almost a place that no touristy will miss. Halifax is not that big and a lot of activities are happening in this area. This is definitely a great place to hangout.

What I cook when on vacation
It might sound unconventional, but really love making meals from time to time. Although trying new cuisine and food is really nice, I still miss home cooking. Luckily, the airbnb I stayed at is fully furnished and the kitchen was well equipped with what I need to cook simple easy meals. Since Halifax has quite an abundance of seafood, I cooked mostly Salmon and Cod dishes, with one day of cooking a steak for a change. It was great and I would definitely do this again given the chance.
