This homemade fresh Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing only uses 5 ingredients and it’s super easy to make. It’s sweet and tangy, no sugar and preservatives added. It’s all fresh and natural ingredients.

I had been fascinated with homemade salad dressing but I never got the chance to make my own yet, until last weekend. I had been introducing a lot of vegetables and salad in my meals and all the time I used store-bought dressing for my salad. I don’t use any fancy dressing anyway, I like light dressing like vinaigrette dressing or Asian dressing but that was not always the case. I used to love creamy based dressing like caesar, ranch, thousand island etc. and I cannot even think of even trying vinaigrette dressing. They’re just not as tasty to me as the cream based dressing but that was all in the past, I love simple vinaigrette dressing now. In fact, I used them a lot more than cream based dressing. Now a days, if I want a cream based dressing, I go for yogurt dressing. There’s so many variations now, they have ranch, caesar and thousands island dressing just a healthier version of the regular creamy based dressing.

I decided to finally give homemade salad dressing a chance. I personally find it exciting as I can make my own variation and used fresh ingredients and no preservatives at all. I already know that I will be making a lot of it and today making this Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing is just the start or many more homemade salad dressing to come.

5 Ingredients, that’s all to it
Homemade salad dressing is very easy to make, and it doesn’t require too much ingredients too. You will need a kitchen blender to start with, a small food chopper works well too although its more convenient to use a blender. It doesn’t have to be a fancy blender; you can use the single serve smoothie blender anything capable of making a puree for fruits. Dump all the ingredients in the blender and process until the texture is smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Just like that! This strawberry vinaigrette has a very nice sweet and sour fresh fruit flavor and it is great for almost any kind of salad. Let me show you quickly how to make it. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Strawberry (measured after chopping into small pieces)
- 4 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar or Rice Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instruction:
Put everything in a blender or mini processor. Process or blend until smooth. Taste and adjust as needed. You can add more honey if you prefer a sweeter dressing. Transfer into a jar or salad bottle. Keep refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
Makes about 1 cup
