2025 Harrison Tulip Festival

So I am back with another Tulip Festival to share with you all. Last week, I shared with you my visit at Lakeland Flower Farm in Abbotsford, BC for their annual Tulip Festival. If you missed that post, here is a short video. Have a look and let know which one you think is better, that one or this Harrison Hot Springs Tulip Festival that I am sharing with you today.

2025 Harrison Tulip Festival

I went to Harrison Tulip Festival on a Friday (April 18) the same day that I visited Lakeland Flower Farm. They are only 30 minutes away so why not do it the same day to maximize the visit in the area.

The farm opens at 10:00AM, 2 hours later than Lakeland which was perfect. I finished at 10 at Lakeland Flower Farm and headed to the Harrison Tulip Festival. I got there around 11:00AM and it was already packed with people. There was a line up to enter, good thing I already bought a ticket online so it was just a matter of having it scanned.

My first impression was that it was more alive and busy; maybe because I came one hour after opening. They also have a more organized and larger space for outdoor dining and quite a few food trucks, and a Farm shop for souvenirs, ice cream and grab and go drinks.

I started with the back garden which was a new addition to the Festival. Apparently, they did not have this last year. This area was nice, more like a landscape back or front garden. It is shaded so refreshing after being exposed in the sun in the fields.

After this, I headed to the flower field which was the main attraction. They have various Tulips in different sizes and colors, plus a large area for daffodil. It was already a bit crowded when I got there.

The colors of the Tulips are more on the darker side. Red, Orange, purple and few light pinks. In terms of color variations, the Lakeland Flower Farm seems to have more.

The one thing they have here that is better is the ice capped mountain backdrop and the back garden. That really gave a nice background for the Tulips.

In terms of the walking path, this is more restrictive as this is a working farm. They have allocated wide walking path but you cannot go in better the smaller paths. Basically, you stay by the edge of the pathways. This is to protect the Tulips as they harvest this for selling.

They have nice spots for photography, swings, benches which captures the beauty of the Tulips .

I did not get any chance to have a meal at this place as the food line up was quite long and most of the seats are occupied. Good thing I have a to go sandwich and apple that I prepared just in case this happens.

They’re a nice weekend activity for sure if you are looking for a short weekend get away. If you have more time and budget, an overnight stay in the area will be nice too. There are a lot of farms in the area that you can visit.

I took a lot of photos but I do not want to overload this post. If you like to see more of the photos, have a look at my Facebook page. I have all the Abbotsford and Chilliwack Tulip Festival uploaded there and a bonus trip to Bridal Veil Falls 🙂

The Harrison Tulip Festival is more than just a flower show—it’s an experience that brings people together to celebrate the beauty of spring. Whether you’re visiting for the stunning landscapes, fun activities, or simply to soak in the fresh air, this festival is a must-see. So grab your camera, bring your loved ones, and get ready for a blooming good time!
